Spreck Rosekrans is a leading expert on California water and power. As Executive Director of Restore Hetch Hetchy, he’s working to return Yosemite’s Hetch Hetchy Valley to its natural state.

He's spent 30+ years tackling major conservation challenges, from protecting the Colorado River to restoring California’s Trinity River and managing Central Valley wetlands.

He previously worked with the Environmental Defense Fund and authored Paradise Regained: Solutions for Restoring Yosemite’s Hetch Hetchy Valley. He’s recognized as an expert by the California legislature, state water board, and federal courts.
